RNDRS + Rhino

Rhino viewports, visualized with AI

You model in Rhino because it's precise and fast. Rendering shouldn't undo that speed. RNDRS turns a viewport capture — shaded, arctic or raw wireframe-over-shaded — into a photorealistic image with AI, so the design conversation keeps moving.

AI rendering that works from the image you already have — a sketch, a model view, a photo. Ask for the change, keep every version. In the browser, no plugin, no GPU. From $19 a month, or $99 once — credits never expire. 5 free renders. No card. Failed renders are refunded automatically.

Keep the source, your instruction and the result together. Review each change before continuing.

Prepare your source with the free input checklist
  1. Capture

ViewCaptureToFile in shaded or arctic mode, saved as a supported image

  2. Upload

Drop the capture onto the RNDRS Studio workspace

  3. Prompt

"Cast concrete pavilion, wildflower meadow, dusk"

  4. Render

Generate a visualization and review it against your source

What to consider

Choose the workflow around the image you need to deliver and the control your project requires.

Made for formfinding

Export a view that makes the form readable. Explore its material and atmosphere in Studio, then inspect curved surfaces, repeated elements and openings against the Rhino model.

Grasshopper-friendly

Capture the Rhino views you want to study and work through the images individually in Studio. Reuse your brief for each option and compare results. Studio does not provide automated Grasshopper batch processing.

From study model to board

Upscale your strongest option, extend the crop for a full-bleed layout, then animate a camera push-in for the presentation — all on the same canvas.

Studio help
What's the best Rhino view mode to export for AI rendering?

Use an exported view with clear edges, readable surfaces and the camera composition you intend to study. Shaded or arctic views are options; inspect the image before upload and compare the result with it.

Do I need to apply materials in Rhino first?

No. You can describe materials and attach references to an untextured source. AI may interpret surfaces differently from your intent, so inspect the generated result.

Does RNDRS work with Grasshopper outputs?

Capture a view of the geometry as a supported image and upload it. Work through separate captures individually; RNDRS does not run the Grasshopper definition or reconstruct its parameters.

How is this different from V-Ray for Rhino?

V-Ray works from a prepared 3D scene. RNDRS generates an image from a supplied view and instructions. Use Studio for concept exploration; use scene-based tools when your task requires explicit geometry, lighting and material controls.
